"everything is cake" is ten tracks of lo-fi background music done the ALU way, born as a commission penned under another name for a song library. Circumstances were unkind to everyone, though, prompting ALU to release the album under his main alias.

While arguably not a mainline project, "everything is cake" still contains traces of the ALU sound. Soaring synth lines, jazzy chords, and moving basslines live amongst the echoes of recent lo-fi hip-hop, making this album a true hybrid.
